• Budget Committee
-The Budget Committees jurisdiction is the Budget.
• Education Committee
-Primary
jurisdictions are education generally, school finance,
and school facilities.

Health Committee -
Primary
jurisdictions are
health care, Medi-Cal, mental health licensing of health
and health-related professionals, and long term health
care facilities.
• Transportation Committee
-Primary jurisdictions are Transit Authority,
California Highway Patrol, vehicles, aircraft, and
vessels; operation, licensing and registration, and
drivers licenses.
• Select Committee on the Ports
• Select Committee on Urban Education, Vice Chair
• Task Force on Illegal Immigration

Water
Committee - Assemblymember Huff is the only
Southern California Republican on this important
committee tasked with putting together a long-term
solution to water storage, delivery and
conservation.
• Health
Committee - This special session is tasked with
crafting a plan to provide healthcare to the 6.6
million Californians not currently insured.
